Salcis is from the Aranda de Duero region in the Denomination of Origin of Ribera del Duero – an exceptional grape growing area blessed with a unique combination of soil, altitude and microclimate which come together to provide wine harvests that are regularly classified as “Excellent”.

This small, traditional yet modern family winery is located close to the vineyard where the grapes are picked and selected by hand. The winery itself was conceived and designed to maximize the use of gravity, no pumps are used in its making, thus ensuring the grapes and wine must are processed with the maximum possible care before being aged in French and American oak barrels.

In this extraordinary land, under the supervision of our winemaker Begoña Miguel, the Tempranillo grapes are grown from vines with an average age of over 50 years, which produce our magnificent red wines that have the maximum expression, complex aromas and flavors with an elegant finish.
