Vineyards located at more than 500 metres altitude and vines, with both indigenous and international varieties, that are over 40 years old, are used to produce this top quality brand of wines that pays homage to one of the greatest kingdoms in our history: the Corona de Aragón. Between the 12th and 18th centuries it spanned territories from the east of Spain and the south of Greece, celebrating a deep-rooted wine-producing prestige and culture, which had one of its epicentres in Cariñena.

Vineyards – Grandes Vinos encompasses five distinct winery partners that work in collaboration under one technical team to source and vinify fruit from 10,000 acres of vineyard. The altitude of plantings spans 1,000 to 2,800 feet, with over 1,800 feet in vertical variation to choose from. About one third of the company’s total production is dedicated to Garnacha, although the company is also well known for the local Cariñena variety and many others. The range of vineyard plantings allows the winemaking team to isolate a tremendous specificity of styles and to parcel-select wines from entry level to premium.

Our winegrowers are the real protagonists proving that the legacy of Cariñenalives on today and the dedication to wine and the vineyards has been passed down from generation to generation.

These deep wine producing roots translate into a unique know-how, a knowledge of the land, the vines, the harvests and the grapes that is enhanced today with strategic technical support and with technological innovation in pursuit of a sustainable crop, not only to preserve the legacy but also to pass it on to future generations.

For our protagonists vine growing is a passion and a way of life, and with their union they are the main asset of Grandes Vinos.
